A runner silhouetted against the setting sun
Side note: the person in the photograph is not me. Will add personal photos soon!

I haven’t been a runner for too long. I started running (again) in 2022; but I really started enjoying it and going the distance (no pun intended) from October 2025. That was when I discovered the impossible (running ten minutes without taking a break). Why am I telling you all this? Because I want you to know that I am NOT at expert – in fact I am far from it. So thank God (for the both of us) that I will not use this blog for pro-level advice (because I don’t have any). Rather I want to focus on my journey – one that is still a work in progress.

I also want to focus on topics around running on a budget because let’s be real, most of us want to enjoy running without digging a hole in our pockets.

I hope you enjoy being a part of my journey! <3

What Can You Expect From Me?

A raw, unfiltered experience.

Sometimes when the algorithms throw exceptional people doing exceptional things with a hobby you just started, your achievements feel less exceptional. And this is not to hate on pro-level runners, training for 5-6 hours a day. They have earned all the love and respect and I wish them nothing but all the success in the world.

I just feel that sometimes, as beginners, there aren’t enough material that makes us feel heard. I know you may get tips from pro-runners but its something else to see a beginner stumble and learn with you. And that’s what I intend to be. I want to be that reminder – one who shouts that you are a runner, even if you can barely run two minutes at a time. You are a runner even if you haven’t been able to go on a run for the last week. You are a runner even if you are struggling with plantar fasciitis. You don’t need to complete a fancy milestone to be a runner – you don’t even need fancy shoes. You just need to do, one thing and one thing one, run.

So I guess you can expect me to run – run shakily, and inconsistently, but run nevertheless. And you can expect me to come back and talk about it. Together we shall grow and perhaps leave our beginner status behind.
